Flea market season is in full swing! As a longtime bargain hunter and parent of two, I planned a Sunday outing to snag some unique vintage clothes for the kids. But it started pouring rain. At first, I hesitated—but as you'll see, that downpour turned into a blessing in disguise.
Staring out the window at the steady rain, my motivation waned. Excuses piled up: Vendors might skip setup in this weather, the kids could catch colds, and I'd be drenched pushing the stroller. Yet, I rallied. A little rain wouldn't stop me. I bundled up the baby, hooded the older one, and headed out with purpose.

I dove into the clothing stalls and struck gold: Perfect outfits for my older child and a chic top for myself, all in excellent shape. "How much for the lot?" I asked. "€3.50," came the reply—desperate to avoid repacking in the wet weather with few browsers around.
