Stock Up on Half-Price Christmas Chocolates for Easter Savings

Stock Up on Half-Price Christmas Chocolates for Easter Savings

Once the holidays end, supermarkets slash prices on Christmas chocolates to clear shelves fast. As a savvy shopper with years of experience, I stock up for Easter at bargain rates, saving significantly without compromising quality.

Like foie gras or smoked salmon, these festive treats must go to make room for new inventory.

Sale Products: Up to 70% Off

Discounts hit 50% or even 70%, with some packs fully reimbursed via loyalty cards depending on the store. Of course, chocolate won't be our sole diet for the next ten weeks. But annually, I leverage this destocking bonanza to prep for Easter.

Christmas boxes last at least until May (liqueur varieties) and typically through October or November the following year, stored away from light and humidity.

Liquor Chocolates and Timeless Treats

I skip seasonal papillotes and chocolate Santas, zeroing in on liqueur chocolates, orangettes, and other all-year delights. In four months, they'll command premium prices beside Easter bunnies and eggs—no room for pickiness!

A box of 16 Ferrero Rocher sweets, normally €5.50, rang up at €3.30 after 60% off.

Mon Chéri boxes of 30, usually €8.20, cost me €4.10.

Kinder Surprise eggs dropped from €2.90 to €1.45. The deals keep coming!
